This is exactly how those who run the country want us to be- and yet someone puts it into a “family friendly” film. How messed up is that? It even has the breaking out and going back into the same patterns! Don’t be fooled- this creepy Illuminati flick should be as well loved as 1927’s metropolis- cause it’s the same thing. This isn’t something we should be showing our kids- it’s what we should be warning them against.

The Lego Movie is entertaining enough, i would say that this animated lego movie is fantastic. The main character repesents a normal guy who basically has a average normal human being life but has no friends and gets in this really cool adventure with notable legos it's just fun and it's sometimes dark and very sad towards the half hour the film. Either way this movie is good and pretty funny i highly recommend this film it's a dazzle.

This movie had no comedy and too much sadness. I watched this movie for earth day on Nickelodeon, and it was so bad, I PUKED, LITERALLY “PUKED!!!”. this movie deserves to be deleted!!! Taco Tuesday made the whole bricksburg bad. I give this movie 1 star. There were only 1 or 2 parts I laughed at, then the rest was stupid. I didn’t know why they were looking for emmet. Don’t let your kids watch this crap.

This is one of the greatest films of 2014! It is so cool how Christopher Miller and Phil Lord figured out a way to bring a well-known toy brand to life! I watched this movie in theaters when I was in 6th grade, and I loved it! I had fallen off a bouldering wall at a climbing gym, and I shattered my ankle completely. I was wearing a cast and was walking on crutches as I was entering the theater, and watching that movie with my mother made the recovery process go more smoothly that day. I will always remember the experience and what this movie about LEGOs meant to me when I was recovering from my ankle injury. Even though I was never really into LEGOs that much during my childhood, I loved this movie! It is going to be a landmark in filmmaking history. 👍

I Like The Movie But When The Movie Slows Down It Really Does And I Skip Some Of The Scenes When I Rewatch It And While It Was Nice To Include The DC Super Heroes Superman Wonder Women Green Lantern And Flash What I Thought Was Stupid Was That They Were Useless They Could’ve Destroyed Some Of The Ships And Break Their Chains But No When I Saw Superman Get Shot Down By The Gum I Thought Do They Really Think Gum Will Stop Superman Until Green Lantern Is A Idiot If They Used Kryptonite But No Regardless Of That Though The Movie Is Great.

I rented this movie for my 5 year old grandson and 3 year old grandgirl. The characters were scary, a lot of violent action, and they found no humor, they watched it in bewilderment. I turned it off after 10 minutes. I demand a refund!

If I had known it was so violent, I would not have shown it to grandkids. It was disturding to see Bad Cop axe his own parents. I don't really think this much violence in what should be a "kids and family." Mild action? More like, 75% violence, .5% message.

I've never played with Legos. I prefer minecraft, sketchbooks and journals to little plastic bricks small kids can easily choke on. But this movie kind of made me want to build a lego set, if only to act out what would happen if Marvel met D.C.
The plot in a Piece of Resistance-shaped shell: Emmet (voiced by the same guy who plays Star Lord in GOTG 1 & 2) is an ordinary lego figurine who's so ordinary no one notices it when he crashes into a barricade, drops his guidebook, meets Batman's girlfriend Wyldstyle only to gape at her like a dork, falls down a hole, and gets a magic glue cap stuck to his back. That's when he's whisked off on a crazy adventure to stop the evil Lord Business and rescue the captive Master Builders, famous pop culture characters who can build just about whatever they want, even though master builders like Cleopatra and Harry Houdini make no sense. Accompanying him on his journey is Wyldstyle, Batman, a hippie named Vitruvius, 1980-something space guy, unikitty and metal beard.
This movie worked mostly because it was so random and goofy it was impossible to take seriously. The first time I saw it, I was laughing so hard I thought I'd pee my pants, and I still laugh today. The moral of the story is "always be unique, especially with legos." Despite what you may think, it's not a feature-length toy commercial, it's mostly just an excuse to make a feature-length scene of total randomness that's bound to wake your inner kid.
My only complaint is the lack of Marvel heroes. Seriously, you couldn't have Captain Marvel in there for ONE MINUTE?!?! Shame on you, MCU, shame on you.
