Now in its seventh year, Junior Eurovision, or J-ESC as it is known on the continent, is very much the little sibling of its world renowned forerunner. Despite being watched by twelve million people worldwide from Europe to as far as Australia and Japan and with increasing numbers of countries taking part each year, it remains somewhat more of a home-grown affair than the adult competition, as the rules stipulate that all of the ten to fifteen year old amateur contestants must compose and write their own entries and sing them in their national language. Not knowing who would make it through all seventeen participating countries national selections, filmmakers travelled from Belarus to the Ukraine, Cyprus to Belgium and Malta to Sweden to see just whom each nation selected to represent them in Rotterdam at the final of Junior Eurovision 2007. As the results came in they began to follow fourteen year old Marina from Bulgaria part of the group “Bon Bon”, fifteen year olds Eva, Matthieu, Laurence and Mirek from Belgium with their band Trust, thirteen year old Mariam from Georgia, and ten year old Giorgos from Cyprus.

Sir Simon Loveit (Gil Sutherland), a widower, wishes to mary Miss Biddy Bellair (Tori Hart). However his son, Captain Bob Loveit (Adam Alexander), has already won her heart under the alias of Rhodophil before he went to war in Flanders. Upon his return, Captain Bob discovers, courtesy of his manservant Puff (John Fitzpatrick), that Biddy has two other suits, Captain Flash (Dominic Rouse) and Mr. Fribble (Matthew Butler). Puff also discovers that his own wife, Tag (Emma King), whom he deserted six months ago, has been having an affair with Sir Simon's manservant, Jasper (Graham Butler). After coercing Flahs and Fribble into a duel Miss Biddy and Tag watch the ensuing chaos with glee as Captain Bob chases off his rivals. Sir Simon relinquishes his attachment to Miss Biddy leaving true love to win the day.
