Best line in the movie: “you’ve made a career out of being a victim.”
Are these Brits talking about Americans???
Hahaha.
One of the best, heart touching films of 2023.
Very well written, acting was 10 stars across the board and just a very pleasant and wonderful movie to fall in love with.
I will be watching this one over and over again.
It shouldn’t be called a romance.
Such a delightful warm hearted Christmas movie
Love Emilia Clarke! This was a great movie to see!, I really enjoyed it!
You wouldn’t think it, but this was a surprisingly great movie. Loved it. Wish I had seen it sooner
Cute romantic holiday film with a twist. No nudity at all. Loved this movie
I had no idea what I was getting into but this is one of the quiet sweet movie this season. Much needed for me.
I thought it was awesome!!!!
Boring and bad language . Just didn’t like it.
Full of cliches and unlikable characters. Boo

Call me harsh. Call me cruel. Call me coal-worthy. But just don't call me Krampus! The way one makes a movie like LAST CHRISTMAS is the way one shops for Christmas...AT THE LAST MINUTE! Can someone please tell me how a life-saving surgery makes a storefront elf feel like dying? I mean, I understand survivor's remorse and all, but other than such, it really makes very little to no sense at all. And while you're at it, please clarify for me the intent behind wasting such senselessness on a talented young woman like Emilia Clarke, who by the way makes such a cute elf! Let's not forget how we have that cute little elf do all the work. The story work, that is. I mean, look at "Santa" (Michelle Yeoh). She could have done a whole heap more than just mind that store, and eye that strange man who keeps coming in mouth agape. Also, look at the parents of our elf. Why don't we get to know them and their relationship? Matter of fact, let's all hear about the pros and cons of living in a country one doesn't fully understand, and which doesn't accept them! With all respect due to Emma Thompson, why could the casting director not have sought out talented actors from Yugoslavia, or of the said descent, to play this family? Instead of having Thompson speak in a less-than-legit accent? Who said the family HAD to be the elf's family? Last but not least, I don't appreciate Tom Webster (Henry Golding) being a nobody from nowhere. He could very well have been a friend to the people at the shelter and spoken fluent--whatever the official language of Yugoslavia is.
Furthermore, I don't think the producers drew inspiration from the WHAM! classic tune at all. Otherwise, at least one of the many stories--if they had taken their time with this like they did with LOVE ACTUALLY--would have turned the lyrics of the song into action. DOES ANYONE ELSE FEEL LIKE THEY JUST TASTED AND SPIT OUT SOILED EGG NOG???????
On a lighter note, Miss Clarke, Mr. Golding, and yes, Ms. Yeoh and Ms. Thompson spared no effort in bringing the folks in our fractured Christmas tale to life. And for that, I congratulate you. Needless to say, actors cannot make a blockbuster hit alone. More reason to come to elf practice and learn how to wriggle your ears, and chuckle warmly, and go "hee hee" and "Ha Ha" and important stuff like that. Or in other words, learn how to speak a new language fluently, and listen to the disenfranchised, and make deadpan jokes so hysterical that even you will go "Hee hee" and "Ho Ho" and other engaging stuff like that!
"A must-see," commercial cats say. GOOD GRIEF! [Door slam]
this made no sense and was boring

Cards on the table--and on the mantle: As good as it is to see a certain player (actor) in something that is not GAME OF THRONES, LAST CHRISTMAS is shoddy craftsmanship shoved into a stocking. It tried to do multiple things all at once, borrowing elements from other films worthy and unworthy of standing ovations. The distant/dysfunctional rapport Katarina "Kate" Andrich (Emilia Clarke) has with her mother Petra (Emma Thompson), father Ivan (Boris Isakovic), and [lesbian] sister Marta (Lydia Leonard) reminds me of EAST IS EAST and the lesser flick THE OTHER SISTER. The on-and-off presence of the all-too angelic Tom Webster (Henry Golding) takes after the yuletide classic THE BISHOP'S WIFE, to a point. [Difference being Dudley being a visible angel in disguise while Tom is...not exactly all there.] This brings up a similarity between this film and SEVEN POUNDS: A stranger/lover's heart beating inside of another. Furthermore, Kate's work as a year-round elf, a not-so-jolly one at that, brings up Jovie from ELF. As her string of dumb moments brings up JUST MY LUCK, a fellow flop. Aside from allusions, I'm sure there are better romantic gestures than Huang Qing Shin/"Santa" (Michelle Yeoh) and her nameless admirer (Peter Mygind) getting dumber each time they see each other. They look as though they've met before, but they haven't. Makes imperfect sense. Most of all, the story within the Wham! classic tune--the film's namesake--has been unjustly skewed out of narrative tangent!!! Plus, the holiday production at the homeless shelter and its players should have gotten more screen time; not just Kate's speedy musical prologue. Altogether, as good as this was intended to be, it wasn't good enough. It was written all wrong. (Good as it is to see you, Emilia, you got your work cut out for you. You and the others.) Metaphorically speaking, this here, like other holiday-themed flicks before it, is a commonly offered Christmas shave. Gift or curse? You make the call. [2 and a 1/2 stars, Mr. Feig, Ms. Thompson]

I absolutely LOVED the movie . When I saw the trailer in theaters I knew I wanted to watch it and boy I did not regret it .! Although the ending was a little unexpected and not to my liking it was an overall great movie .! I really do recommend watching it unless you don’t like unexpected twists . Totally worth the time and money .!
I didn’t have any expectation watching the movie and by the end of it, I loved it.

A very adorable Christmas movie about a woman who finds herself in life. Emilia Clarke is charming, as usual, as is Henry Golding. This movie made me laugh, made me cry. I would definitely recommend.

I watch this in theaters and was expecting a cute rom-com but the comercials made it seem like something it wasn’t.
I watched this movie with my partner and now with my parents and I love it as much as I loved it the first time I saw this in theaters.
Amazing movie.
This movie was so lame! I can’t believe I spent $6 renting it!!
This movie was so heart warming and perfect for the holidays! It captured my attention, my laughter and my tears! Definitely puts you in the spirit of making a difference in someone else’s life! The gifts that go on,,,,,spreading love, peace and joy!
Amazing, I love this movie and highly recommend to watch this movie 👌🏻❤️👏🏻
This movie was extremely predictable. I felt like I knew the entire plot 5 minutes in. It’s really disappointing because I love the actors in it, but the script was so terrible I don’t think any actor could redeem it.

Lots of laughs, love, fun, drama and some tears. A must see! Not just a movie for Christmas.
To the few people that posted spoilers... you are miserable people who deserve to remain miserable hopefully for a very old ripe age. ITunes should remove reviews that contain spoilers!!??
To anyone who stereotypes this into Crazy Rich Asians because there is an Asian in the film, your stupidity is appalling—- viewers this is nothing close to that film.

First half was so uplifting! Second half has a twist. Some may like it, i did not. Just a person opinion. Actors are very talented. Just regretted watching this for a pick me up. Really brought me down. Reminds me why i don't like any one named Tom. Lol.
Great movie I really enjoyed it
I had very low expectations going into this movie but it’s extremely heart felt. The female lead is relatable which is refreshing for a Christmas movie, and the supporting cast is phenomenal. This is one, surprisingly, that we’ll have on our playlist at Christmas time.

I have ALWAYS loved Emilia Clarke but seeing how she was in this just nailed it. The comedy in this was fantastic but those sad moments especially towards the end broke my heart for her. It’s worth the watch.
Crazy rich asians remake lol
This movie officially replaces my usual viewing of Love Actually. Emilia Clark is soooo adorable! Having only seen her in Game of Thrones and Terminator, to see her in something lighthearted and funny is a complete joy. I've seen it three times already. I will own this movie for sure!
Why would you release a Christmas movie in January 21st ? Does that make any sense at all ?

Can’t wait... With George Michael’s soundtrack (and THE Soundtrack of MOST of my generations life’s) they have a lot to live UP too...
I love this movie!! I’ve seen it once in theaters and have wanted to go see it again ever since! I can’t wait till it comes out on digital. I would defiantly recommend watching it, if you haven’t already!

Here’s the deal. I love Hallmark movies. And the fact that I am facing divorce for Christmas I may be in love with this movie. I’ve seen it three times and....may have cried every time. So as a future single divorced dad this movie gave me hope for the holidays.
I loved it, I’ve seen it twice... I liked it better the second time, because it wasn’t what I expected the first time. I thought it was going to be a normal ordinary romcom, but it had more depth and meaning then what I expected. My boyfriend saw it with me the first time, he actually stayed up and he ended up liking it. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll leave the theater smiling, and wanting to be a better person.
Thank you for making this movie❤️
I absolutely adore Emilia Clarke and she was the reason I went to see this movie. I never take the opinion of others and ignored the critics as always. Henry Golding was also very good in this film, very easy on the eyes. The chemistry between he and Emilia was perfect and also believable. This movie was uplifting, funny, suprising, and very sweet. A perfect holiday movie. If you want to feel good, go see the movie.
Great Christmas movie! The message is simply that of loving yourself and others. The acting is superb and the music fits even better than I expected.
A beautiful movie we all need in the holiday season. Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding are magic
When I first saw the trailer for this movie months ago, I was hooked. I saw this movie on November 7 at a 10 PM showing in Mountain View (almost private). Emilia Clark is a great fit for a role like this since Me Before You. She was the primary reason I went to see this movie. It was a very cute Christmas movie and I don’t care what the critics say. There are a lot of cute moments that I found in this movie that tug at my heart strings. It’s my absolute favorite and I did enjoy it very much. Combine that with the music of a legend like George Michael (who did pass away on Christmas Day in 2016, RIP) and you got yourself a great Christmas movie. Henry Golding and Emilia Clark have very good on screen chemistry, and the movie did make me tear up and I can relate to her character, Kate. There aren’t too many movies I would see twice in theaters, but this year alone I saw John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum, Avengers: Endgame, and Booksmart at least twice in theaters. Add this movie to that list and I’m looking forward to seeing the movie again soon. I’m also looking forward to buying the movie, soundtrack, and getting some memorabilia associated with the movie. Great job!
I got to be honest I was scared if this was gonna be good or not because with the critics reaction but they were wrong it was a beautiful Christmas movie that featured George Michael new music in it and it will give you tears near the end but very uplifting of a movie I recommend last Christmas to any Christmas movie fan this something you got to add to your list must buy!!!!!!
